A lady who worked in the homeless shelter knew how easy it was to become homeless. Soon poverty happened to her as well. She became ill and was unable to pay her house rent and soon the burden grew to where she needed to pay bills and everything. Her aunt lent her 2000 with back rent but her electricity bills were still not payed. She also has many people living there, such as her nephew. After a few days she joined a service where they payed off her dept.
Maybe the lad in the story was lucky but there are millions who might of had a similar case. Most who un-luckly became poor and with no where but the streets to go to. As New York is one of the biggest cities, it is also where many homeless people are. You see people in train stations begging just to have 1 spec of food or even a drink of water, as people cant only live on beer. Maybe this has gone way out of hand or maybe we just haven't tried anything to help the homeless as effective as possible.
