Indeed, women use more medical care than men because of the combined demands of pregnancy and family planning, and young women typically must pay more than young men for individual health insurance.
At the same time, mothers often take primary responsibility for meeting children’s health care needs, and women devote significantly more time to the care of sick, disabled and elderly family members than men do. Are women bearing too much of the burden under the health care system? Does the proposed overhaul raise gender-equality issues?”
The First Lady, Michelle Obama informed the public, about the some of the major concern about how health is a big concern for most women. Women needs for insurance coverage due to pregnancy and family situation with children, and elderly parents. The health care will give them less stress during this critical time and provide them with assistance they need.
The proposal is not just a man issue but also women issue also. So, women should therefore, support to pass the health care plan.
